Badminton Court Flooring That Takes The Smash And The Weather
Badminton needs a surface with grip for quick lunges and a base that drains after rain. Our interlocking PP tiles give clubs and schools a court that plays true indoors and out - no acrylic, no closure.
- Grip for fast lunges and direction change
- Rapid drainage for outdoor courts
- Line markings moulded as colour panels - never repainted
- Installs in a day, no glue or wet trades
Why badminton is hard on a floor
Badminton is a stop-start sport: lunges, jump smashes and constant changes of direction load the same few square metres around the net and the service corners. A painted acrylic or timber floor wears unevenly and gets slippery exactly where players move most. Interlocking PP tiles spread that load across a locked surface, so the high-traffic zones stay true season after season.
Indoor halls and outdoor courts
Indoor badminton halls tend to choose the 500 mm heavy-duty format for fast coverage and a dense, even surface underfoot. Outdoor badminton courts in wet climates choose the same series for its perforated base and UV stability - rain clears in minutes and play resumes almost immediately. Both use the same lock, so a mixed indoor/outdoor club standardises on one product family.
Line markings without repainting
Badminton lines are moulded as coloured panels, so a court can carry singles, doubles and multi-sport lines at once. When the programme changes, you swap a few panels instead of closing the hall for a repaint. For truly multi-use spaces, see our MUGA guide.

Frequently asked questions
Can badminton lines share a court with other sports?
Yes. Line markings are produced as coloured panels, so one court can carry badminton, futsal and volleyball lines at the same time without any repainting.
Is the surface slippery when wet?
No. The textured surface is designed for grip in wet conditions, and the perforated base drains standing water away instead of holding it on the surface.
Which panel is best for an outdoor badminton court?
The heavy-duty 340 mm or 500 mm perforated series: it drains, resists UV and stays flat through temperature swings better than a thin indoor tile.
Do you supply nets and posts?
No. Our product is the flooring system; nets, posts and line tape are sourced locally so international freight is not wasted on bulky items.
