Backyard Court Flooring You Can Lay In A Weekend
A home court should be a Saturday project, not a building permit. Our interlocking PP tiles turn a flat patch of yard or driveway into a basketball, pickleball or multi-sport court - no concrete pour, no acrylic crew, no closed season.
- Click-together DIY install, no trades needed
- Lays over concrete, asphalt or a prepared base
- Drains after rain, play resumes in minutes
- One court, many sports via colour line panels
Why homeowners choose modular tiles
A backyard court is used by everyone from a six-year-old learning to dribble to a parent who wants to move. A poured acrylic court locks you into one sport and one colour and needs a contractor to fix. Interlocking tiles let a homeowner build the size they want, change the lines later and repair a damaged panel instead of resurfacing the whole court.
Concrete, asphalt or bare ground
Most backyards start from one of three bases: an existing concrete pad or driveway, an asphalt patch, or compacted ground with a thin screened stone layer. Tiles click straight onto concrete and asphalt; over bare ground we recommend a compacted open-graded base so water leaves instead of pooling. Either way no wet trades are involved. See our subbase guide.
Many sports in one yard
Line markings are produced as coloured panels, so a single backyard court can carry basketball, pickleball and even a small badminton box at once. When the kids move on to a different sport, swap a few panels instead of repainting. For the multi-sport angle see our MUGA guide.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to pour concrete for a backyard court?
No. Tiles click directly onto an existing concrete or asphalt pad, or onto a compacted open-graded stone base for a bare-yard build.
Can one backyard court serve several sports?
Yes. Line markings are coloured panels, so basketball, pickleball and other lines share one court without repainting.
How long does a DIY install take?
A typical home court is a weekend project for two people: level the base, click the field, cut and edge the perimeter.
Will it survive winter and summer?
Yes. The tiles are UV-stabilised virgin PP and rated for freeze-thaw, so a backyard court stays flat through the seasons.
